Anyone know any more about NUS plans to sell unions a 'premium' NUS card this year which we can in turn sell to students?

I hear that they will cost 10 squid, that unions will make Ł4 on each one and that NUS will collect student data (emails, addresses etc) to sell on. Is this right?

If anyone knows the full proposal please put me straight.
