Further the fact that is WAS an emergency conference (just that the AUT use different names)... it was better attended than the annual conference AND peope who went had been mandated how to vote by their universities who all help meetings locally prior to it. Not everyone followed the mandate (or even more people would have voted against the boycott) but it was said afterwards that this was the most democractic meeting the AUT has EVER had. By now all this should be in the press.
