On a very different note that may be of interest to everyone else, the whole antiboycott campaign (within AUT) came from the left (the real left) as action against the pretend left. It had as much to do with helping Palestinians and stopping the left being discredited and run off course (to the detriment of Palestinians and many others) as it had to do with antisemitism (and it had a lot to do with both I might add). It not only stood up against descrimination, but stood against abuse of the system and for more democracy in the AUT. There will be much more on this on the engage site I'm sure, as well as hopefully in the press. (All this was explained in a press conference afterwards.) For those planning on joining the AUT and getting involved it should be particularly interesting.
